Duluth restaurants support Aliveness Project

Local news, sports, weather presented by the WDIO News Team

Thursday, April 24 is an especially good day to eat at Pizza Luce and Sara’s Table. The two restaurants are partnering with Dine Out for Life.

A portion of the funds will be donated to the Aliveness Project, which provides essential HIV services across Minnesota.

The House Manager of Sara’s Table told WDIO, “The thing that is most exciting for me is that do case management, counseling and help with nutrition for those in our community living with AIDS and HIV.

There is a lot of need as Duluth and St. Louis County face an HIV outbreak. 37 cases have been diagnosed since September of 2019.

The Aliveness Project is experiencing federal funding challenges and is grateful for the support of these two restaurants.

Pizza Luce is giving 40% of its dine-in sales, and Sara’s Table is giving 25% of their sales on Thursday, April 24th.
