Duluth’s Daniel Durant set to perform at the Super Bowl

Friday it was announced that Daniel Durant will be performing at Super Bowl LVIII along with other deaf performers, Anjel Piñero and Shaheem Sanchez.

During pregame festivities, Daniel will be signing the National Anthem; Actress and model Anjel Piñero will sign “America the Beautiful’; and Shaheem Sanchez who is an actor, dancer, and choreographer will be signing “Lift Every Voice and Sing” plus the ASL Halftime Show.

With the Super Bowl only about three weeks away Daniel took to Instagram to say, “I’m excited and honored to perform the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVIII – can’t wait to be there with other amazing deaf performers Anjel Piñero and Shaheem Sanchez – they will be fire to watch.”

Durant is an actor from Duluth, appearing in the Oscar winning movie CODA and appearing on Dancing with the Stars.
