Early morning Eveleth garage fire destroys structure and three vehicles

Monday morning at 4:40am, firefighters from several Iron Range departments battled a garage fire in Eveleth.

The early morning blaze took place in the 700th block of Garfield street. The garage and three vehicles, including two pick up trucks and a SUV, were destroyed. And nearby structures also had heat damage.

The Minnesota State Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
