Family displaced after house fire in Superior
A Superior family has been displaced after a fire Wednesday afternoon.
The Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on the 1300 block of N. 17th Street, just before 11:15 a.m. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from a second story window.
Officials say the fire started in an upstairs bedroom, and crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames to prevent further spread. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Water and smoke damages are estimated to be approximately $50,000. Everyone was able to make it out of the home safely, and are staying with family for the time being.
Officials say no one was injured.
