Fatal crash near Cornell

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol a crash with one fatality occurred at 8:37 am on Saturday October 12th. The crash was in near Cornell in Chippewa county on WIS 64 WB at County Road G.

A vehicle going southbound ran through a stop sign at the State Highway 64 intersection where the vehicle was struck by a westbound vehicle.

The incident was fatal for one driver and the other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Responding agencies included the Chippewa County Sheriff Office, the Cornell Fire & EMS, and the Chippewa Fire District.
