Fire damages home in Clinton Township

Crews put out a blaze that started with cooking oil on Wednesday night in Clinton Township.

St. Louis County said the call came out around 7:30pm to a home on Cobb Road.

The homeowner reported that cooking oil on an outdoor burner had overheated, and had started the house on fire.

Multiple departments responded, and were able to contain the flames.

The county believes there is damage to the roof and attic.
