Firefighter from Cromwell now fighting cancer, GoFundMe set up for the family

Timothy Smith is a volunteer firefighter with the Cromwell-Wright department. But now, he’s fighting something else: prostate cancer.

According to the GoFundMe page, the 48-year-old has seven daughters. He has worked at Jamar Company for 24 years.

He’s slated to have surgery in June.
