London Road reopens after lumber truck tipped over

London Road in Duluth has reopened after traffic was re-routed due to a tipped over flatbed lumber truck.

The Duluth Fire Department were called to the scene in East Duluth on Monday. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. on London Road, between 42nd Avenue East and 43rd Avenue East.

According to Duluth Police, the call came in at approximately 9:50 a.m. that a lumber truck was on its side. According to initial reports, the truck was traveling westbound on London Road when it crossed the roadway and flipped on its side.

Authorities say the driver of the vehicle wasn’t injured.
