For the first time in MN FFA history, three Grand Rapids Future Farmers of America members hold state roles
A history making moment at the 95th State FFA Convention in the cities this week.
Three Grand Rapids girls now hold state leadership roles. That’s never happened in the 95 year history of the MN FFA.
Emma Braford is the Vice President. Kaiya Grossman is the State Secretary. And Torri Gunderson is the State Sentinel.
Kaiya shared, “These two people have been with me for our entire FFA journey. I can’t wait for the next step and serve the state of Minnesota.”
“When you think about serving with each other, it’s incredibly rewarding to grow together as a team,” Torri added.
Emma reflected on what FFA means. “To invest in themselves and build a foundation. FFA really focuses on growth and leadership development in students.”
They will help represent 16,000 members statewide.
Also, Sam Connelly is the state winner of Forest Management and Products Proficiency Award.
Minnesota’s 95th State FFA Convention was held April 21-23 at 3M Arena at Mariucci and at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.
