Former president Barack Obama endorses Governor Tim Walz

Former president Barack Obama showed his support for Governor Tim Walz by giving him his official endorsement on Wednesday.

The Walz-Flanagan campaign announced the endorsement on a radio ad that is currently playing in the Twin Cities area. In the ad, Obama praises Walz for his efforts to balance the state budget, investing in education and public safety, supporting tax rebate checks and cutting taxes for the middle class.

This endorsement comes just one week prior to the midterm elections.
