Four people arrested in search warrant execution

Four people are behind bars for their role in selling controlled substances.
Law enforcement executed a search warrant around 3:45am Thursday, on the 100 block of E 3rd Street. Law enforcement had been investigating, which suggested people were selling controlled substances and had access to firearms.
Five individuals were detained without incident. Duluth Police say one person was questioned and released, while four others were arrested.
During the search warrant, two handguns were located with sale amounts of cocaine, oxycontin, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.
A 29-year-old Duluth man is facing charges of Aggregated 1st Degree Sale and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Three other men are facing charges of 1st Degree sale. One of those men is a Duluth resident, it’s not clear where the other two reside.
Duluth Police’s Tactical Response Team, Investigation and Patrol Division, the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force, St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, and Superior Police Department were present to execute what they are calling a high risk search warrant.
