Free electronic recycling event coming up Saturday for Koochiching County
Koochiching County residents can recycle their old electronics easily on Saturday during a free collection event.
Many of us have old electronics that we want to recycle, but don’t really know what to do with.
The Koochiching Technology Initiative is partnering with the county and PCs for People to collect your e-waste during a free event on Saturday in International Falls.
All donations will be utilized in continuing KTI’s volunteer work including getting refurbished computers to Koochiching County homes with need. In the last six months, KTI has distributed more than 75 refurbished computers to individuals and families.
The event is open to all businesses and residents of Koochiching County.
Saturday from 9am-1pm, at Kerry Park in International Falls.
No TVs bigger than 55 inches or anything with mercury.
