Babbitt garage a total loss following fire

As per the Northland Fire Wire, Babbitt firefighters responded to a dispatched to a garage fire in Babbitt Thursday August 29th around 6:00 p.m. on Basswood Circle. The fire was contained to the interior of the garage, but the garage is considered a total loss.

Several objects inside the garage are also considered a total loss including a riding lawnmower and an ATV.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
