Giants Ridge celebrates 25th anniversary of The Legends course

On Tuesday Giants Ridge celebrated the 25th anniversary of their 18-hole golf course The Legend.

There for the celebratory golf event was the course’s architect Jeff Brauer. When asked if he has a favorite hole he said he couldn’t pick just one because the enitre course continues to impress.

"I have come back almost every year since we designed this thing and it’s the fact that they all stand up," Brauer said about The Legend. "A lot of courses talk about signature holes, certainly 17 would be the signature hole over the water."

He added, "there’s strength in depth of numbers rather than having one good hole." Brauer has designed more than 50 new courses and remodeled over 80.

Giants Ridges two golf courses in The Legends and The Quarry are open 7 days a week during the summer 8am-6pm.
