Grand Lake Township man sentenced to more than 7 years for Criminal Sexual Conduct

A Grand Lake Township man was sentenced on Thursday to 91 months in prison. 50-year-old Clint Massie plead guilty in December to four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct involving two juvenile girls, according to St. Louis County Attorney’s Office.
Judge Eric L. Hylden issued the sentence of seven and a half years, that will include a lifetime predatory offender registration requirement. According to court documents, Judge Hylden denied Massie’s motion for a mitigated sentence and imposed the guideline sentence.
The report says through victim impact statements, the two females described the trauma they went through.
“This outcome was possible because of the women who could not and would not forget and the investigators who brought this into the light,” Assistant St. Louis County Attorney, Mike Ryan said in a press release.
