Employees at Grandma’s Miller Hill location spent Monday making sure the restaurant is fully dried out, after drenching rains caused a couple of inches of flooding.
The water went down fairly quickly Sunday evening.
VP of Operations, Tony Boen, said that staff noticed the parking lot filling up with water on Sunday morning. And they took action.
“They got everything up off the floor, to be prepared, you know, and tried to do as many preventative measures as we could,” he said.
Fans are running, and staff are using sanitizer to make sure things are back up to standard.
The plan is to reopen for business on Tuesday.
Until then, you can visit the other Grandma’s down in Canal Park.
