Great Lakes Aquarium celebrates Otter’s 11th birthday
Local news, sports, weather presented by the WDIO News Team
Great Lakes Aquarium otters, Agate and Ore, turned eleven years old on Saturday. To celebrate their birthdays, the Great Lakes Aquarium held a day-long event, complete with games, shows, and an otter cake.
“My co-worker made them a cake this year that consisted of squid, scallops, and shrimp,” said Natalie Riemer, staff member at the Great Lakes Aquarium. “It’s a big hit with them for sure. We spoil them a little bit each year on their birthday.”
You can visit Agate and Ore at the Great Lakes Aquarium daily from 10am to 6pm.
