Hail, wind, rain… Oh My!

Severe weather moved across the Northland Wednesday afternoon and evening. There are multiple Weather Alerts posted including a Tornado Watch until 10pm for Aitkin, Carlton, Crow Wing, Pine counties in Minnesota and Burnett County in Wisconsin.

Large hail has been reported across much of the Iron Range and Central Minnesota. As the storms blew past they brought heavy rain and gusty winds. There were some reports of rotation in the clouds and a possible tornado touchdown near Crosslake, Minnesota. Officials will assess any damage to verify the report. The severe weather will continue tonight.
