Hermantown man who allegedly threatened woman with gun faces five charges

Gary Robert Holter faces five charges related to a domestic violence call from last week in Hermantown.

Authorities said the 75-year-old threatened his ex-wife by pointing a gun at her head, allegedly saying, “I’m going to shoot you dead.”

This was near her apartment on Timber Ridge Lane on Thursday afternoon.

The complaint said Holter was arrested shortly afterwards, and showed signs of impairment. A field sobriety test came in at .19, according to the complaint.

Judge Neo set bail at $500,000.
