Hermantown residents asked to conserve water
The City of Hermantown is asking residents to conserve water Wednesday, June 28th, while maintenance is done on Duluth’s water system.
“Ideally, residents can refrain from large uses, such as watering lawns and gardens and filling swimming pools, for the day so we can maximize the water in our two towers,” according to a post on the City of Hermantown’s Facebook page. “This is only a one-day request.”
In a post on Facebook, the Hermantown Police Department said that residents “did an incredible job” when asked to conserve water earlier this month.
Maintenance on Duluth’s public water system will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
