Hibbing students restore Ford Model T, which is up for auction
A unique vehicle is set up at the Ford of Hibbing right now.
It’s a 1927 Ford Model T, which has been restored by students from Hibbing High School.
Their industrial tech teacher, A.J. Abate, shared that someone donated the vehicle and the cost of the repairs.
It’s taken several years to get it fully finished, so multiple classes have worked on the car.
Senior Jackson Willard said it was fun, and he gets to see it every day since he works at Ford of Hibbing.
It’s not perfect, but they did get it to run.
You can bid on the vehicle yourself. Proceeds will benefit the shops classes in Hibbing.
