Holy Cross Lutheran Church excited about upcoming Swedish meatball fundraiser

Get your appetites ready for the 13th Annual Swedish Meatball Drive Thru Dinner at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Duluth.

This is the major fundraiser for the year for Holy Cross, which is at 410 N Arlington Avenue. They are one of the churches that supports Chum.

The meat is being seasoned, and the silverware has been rolled. Saturday, they’ll make 1440 meatballs.

Scott Lapinski, chair of the church board, said, “We like to say meatballs and gravy are the king and queen of the show.”

Louane Beyer added, “The secret is they simmer for 10 hours.”

Church members enjoy this event for the fellowship as well.

Details: Drive-Thru dinner is Tuesday, October 17th, from 4-6:30pm.

$13 for adults, $7 for kids 10 and under.
