House a complete loss in Duluth Township fire

At 8:34AM on Sunday, February 9th, emergency services responded to a structure fire at 5470 Ryan Road in Duluth Township. The report stated that a house was on fire, and the homeowner and solo occupant of the residence was able to exit without injury.

The homeowner (reporting party) stated that a woodstove was in use and the fire began near the chimney. The house was a complete loss as a result of the fire.

Responding emergency services included Clifton, Two Harbors, Normanna and Lakewood Fire Departments along with Minnesota Power.
