Ray Shimmin loves Halloween. “It’s one of my favorite holidays,” he said.
He’d set up props outside his home, on the sidewalk. Then it became a tunnel. And now, it’s taken over his garage and his yard. “It takes about a month and a half to put together,” he said.
Despite saying they won’t buy any more decorations, Ray and Sue did indeed add things this year. “We got a few more pop-up props, and more smoke machines,” Shimmin told us.
About 150 people came through last year.
You can come through on Halloween, from 4:30-8:30pm. The Shimmins live at 231 Guilford Road, Hoyt Lakes. The show is free. And you can get candy afterwards too!
