Come see Iron Range Dog Training Club on Saturday

A look at the Iron Range Dog Training Club in Virginia, which has reopened after water damage.

After some serious water damage from last summer, the Iron Range Dog Training Club has reopened for classes.

In January, they secured new mats for the floor. The old ones had gotten moldy from the water.

They are excited to be able to get together again for training and more. “We become like a family,” shared Betty Petron, who is a board member and instructor.

And they want to welcome people back in during an Open House on Saturday.

There will be demonstrations, meet the breed, and a craft sale.

“We want to promote good dog ownership and good dog handling,” shared Lisa Anderson, president of the club.

The Open House is Saturday, from 9:30am-5:30pm, at the Uptown Mall in Virginia.
