Iron Range firefighters battle garage fire in Lakeland
Firefighters battled a garage fire in Lakeland on Sunday (Northland Fire Wire, 12/8/2024)
At around 12:40 pm on Sunday, a fire was reported in the 4400 block of Vermilion Trail/County Highway 4 in the Lakeland area, south of Biwabik.
Lakeland, Palo, and Fayal Township Fire Departments responded to the garage/house fire. According to the Northland Fire Wire, most of the fire was contained in the garage area while the rest of the attached house had smoke damage.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
