It’s time to go to the fair
The carnival rides are spinning and folks are showing up for all the fair fun that the Head of the Lakes fair in Superior has lined up this year.
The family owned, Spectrum Carnival is known for their quality entertainment at fairs, festivals and events, they’ve been at it since 1988. There are more that two dozen carnival rides, plus tons of midway games and lots of food concession wagons.
Our WDIO news, weather and sports crew broadcast from the fair on Thursday. Justin Liles got to ride a horse, Alicia Tipcke talked with some professional wrestlers and everyone got well aquainted with this year’s fair food vendors.
If you go, you’ll be able to enjoy quite a few shows over the next couple days including lumberjack shows, animal exhibits, more of the midwest all star wrestling events, carnival rides, the midway games and plenty of live music.
The gates open at 3:00 pm Friday, and at noon on Saturday and the fun keeps going both days until 11:00.
