Ivonne Gomez wins her second Grandma’s Wheeler title

Ivonne Reyes Gomez became the sixth woman to have two or more Grandma's Marathon wheelchair titles, winning the 2024 Grandma's.
In the women’s heat of the 2024 Grandma’s Marathon Wheeler Division, Ivonne Reyes Gomez crosses the finish first. This is her fifth time at Grandma’s Marathon and she brings in an unofficial time of 1:48:24. Gomez, 51 is from Mexico.
This race appears to be a personal best for Gomez, having set her previous record of 1:49:03 in 2019. She also won Grandma’s in 2021.
Gomez is only the sixth woman to have two or more wheelchair titles in Duluth.
