Rock Ridge students out at Job Shadow Week
WDIO was happy to host students from Rock Ridge for Job Shadow Week.
A fun day at WDIO with a visit from Rock Ridge students. Will Fahey and Apres Surla even gave anchoring a try, and they did great!
This is all part of the first ever Job Shadow Week for the school.
“We wanted a way to attack the academy model, and this is a wonderful way to learn,” shared Willie Spelts. “We knew we wanted to get our juniors and seniors in the field.”
About 40 companies spanning mining to health care opened their doors to the students.
