The Judy Garland Museum is looking to acquire the land next door, and they’re making an urgent fundraising appeal to those who enjoy the museum.
The adjacent plot has just went up for sale. A private offer of $125,000 is already in, and they’ll need to match that or forgo the property indefinitely.
The new addition would help them develop a “unique but viable visitor experience for future generations and visitors.”
As of Saturday, they secured 65% of the funding. They say all donation sizes are appreciated and high-level contributors will receive permanent recognition on the property. You can visit their Go Fund Me page.
