This Friday August 5th the Spiritwood Foundation in Ely is hosting their locally produced musical benefit titled the Jukebox Time Machine.
The show will be held at Ely’s Historic State Theater, which was recently restored to its former glory. And you can find ticket information here.
The show includes live music and the visual aids created by Donna Surface to make the show a multi-media experience. The show will showcase songs from across the decades including the 8minute long American Pie.
The show itself raises money for the Spiritwood Foundation which is a non-profit fighting Alzheimer’s, and working to enhance the quality of life of seniors and veterans.
Donna Surface says, “We want to stress that this is a fun musical but it’s very important. Our foundation has supported organizations work with families and caregivers assistance. We support programs for veterans and seniors.”
