Well, we made it. The we made it. The end of the week is finally here, and a wonderful holiday weekend is likely. All this sunshine and warmth will continue to hang around through the weekend. High pressure is under control and will stay through the weekend. This could lead to higher fire dangers around the region due to drier conditions.
The high pressure creating these very dry conditions remains centered over the region into Sunday. Slightly higher dewpoints move into the area Monday. The first chance at any precipitation is Monday night in north-central Minnesota and slowly builds eastward into northwest Wisconsin by Tuesday night. Thunderstorms are possible in this early to mid-next week time.
