Rainfall amounts around the Northland ranged from 1-3” or more over the past 24 hours. The winds that followed today were rather annoying as we continued with overcast skies. Temperatures will rebound Thursday as see clearing skies, lighter winds, and plenty of sunshine. Most of us will see temperatures climb back into the mid to upper 60s to lower 70s. Tomorrow night more light rain returns into Friday. Friday will be a wet and cool day with gusty winds off the lake.

Some scattered thunderstorms and heavy rain could roll through around mid-morning and stretch in the early evening hours. Temperatures will be much cooler Friday in the 50s. As the holiday weekend rolls in we are looking at a chance of rain all three days. However, this will be the isolated afternoon to early evening rain due to daytime heating. We should see plenty of sunshine all weekend long.
