Heavier precipitation will develop tonight into Thursday then taper off on Friday. Snow, a wintry mix (including freezing rain), and rain with thunderstorms will all be possible later tonight into Thursday night. A Winter Weather Advisory was issued for portions of northern Minnesota tonight into Thursday night. The precipitation will change to mostly snow from west to east across the Northland Thursday afternoon into Thursday night.

All of this will lead to some flooding concerns some flooding that has receded could return, or new flooding could occur, especially in northwest Wisconsin. Along with rain, freezing rain, snow, and flooding concerns winds will pick up in intensity too. Strongest wind will occur late tonight into Thursday evening and be around Lake Superior with gusts of 50-60 mph possible along the North Shore Thursday afternoon and evening. Light snow will look to linger through the weekend.
