Justin Liles: Clear skies to end the week & rain arrives later Saturday
High pressure has begun to take control of the weather over the Northland. Clear skies are likely tonight with temperatures falling into the upper 20s to low 30s. This area of high pressure will stay in control on Friday keeping skies mostly sunny. Southwest winds will be switching over to the northwest early Friday morning. Widespread rain showers are likely Saturday afternoon and evening and continue into Sunday. Total rainfall will likely be light at under half an inch.
Another wet system is expected to arrive mid-week next week. This one could bring in some light snow up north.
