Justin Liles: Rain possible this weekend

Our recent round of warm weather has us thinking more of summer than fall. Many areas climbed into he upper 70s to low 80s today. There is a chance of seeing some thunderstorms developing through the early evening. Some of these storms might produce some small hail and gusty winds. No severe weather is expected. Temperatures will cool down overnight as some patchy fog develops around the region.

Those of you wondering if we are going to see some light rain for Friday night football, the chance is small. The rain will be scattered but most of it looks to stay along the International Border. I do think clouds will move in and blankets or hoodies might be a good idea as you’re rooting for your favorite football team. Rain looks to return by late Saturday afternoon. Saturday night looks wet as well as Sunday. This will cool us off Sunday. Drier conditions are likely next week.
