Justin Liles: Rain tonight followed by a pleasant weekend

Rain showers will continue to roll through the region tonight as a cold front pass through the Northland. This rain won’t put a huge dent into our deficit, but it will give us something to work with.

Skies will slowly begin to clear out overnight as we head into a pleasant weekend with plenty of sunshine. The front responsible for this rainfall band moves over the Northland tonight to shift winds to westerly then northwesterly and breezy Friday daytime. Beyond light sprinkles in the Arrowhead Friday, no rainfall is forecast this weekend as temperatures remain in the 50s. Gusty winds through the weekend may increase our fire danger too.

Mild air stick around next week with a chance of rain Wednesday. Currently, Halloween night looks pleasant.
