Justin Liles: Scattered Showers Continue

We are likely to see this pattern continue through the end of the week. An area of low pressure to the north will be responsible for bringing in additional chances of rain through Friday. Moisture will keep circulating around this low and bring us periods of rain and sun through the end of the week. This will be like what we experienced today.

The bigger story will be the temperature drop we see by the end of the week. We just had record highs in the 80s yesterday and now we await the 40s by Friday. These are daytime highs. Let’s not forget that overnight low will likely drop into the upper 20s inland away from the lake and low to mid 30s by the lake. Widespread frost and freezing are possible. The good news is Sunday looks to be nice with temperatures beginning to rebound back into the 50s. The sunshine looks to carry on over into the new work week.
