Justin Liles: Some light snow but not much
The magic 8 ball says, “Try again later.” This is how I do more forecast every day, and the contraption won’t tell me if we have any snowfall coming. Flurries are expected Tuesday night first in far northern Minnesota and then across much of the Northland on Wednesday under mostly cloudy to cloudy skies. Very light lake effect snow is possible though along the South Shore and southern Cook County during this time. A cold front will swing through late Thursday into Friday morning. Not much snow is expected once again, but it maybe enough to make Friday morning roads a little slick.
Temperatures warm up Thursday into the weekend with light snow possible over much of the Northland, most of the snow once again looks to stay to the south through Wisconsin. No significant accumulations are likely due to the lack of moisture around the region.
