Justin Liles: Warmer weather begins tomorrow

Look for areas of thick fog to stick around overnight into Friday morning. Temperatures are still on track to be warmer than average through the weekend. Dry conditions along with warm air should see temperatures are the Northland climbing into the upper 50s to lower 60s Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. A strong area of low pressure or clipper system will move in on Sunday and is expected to bring in some rain and potential thunderstorms. Throughout the day on Monday and into Tuesday, the precipitation type will likely change into a wintry mix of snow and rain. Wind gusts are likely greater than 30 mph. Drier conditions, warmer temperatures, and more sunshine return through the middle to end of next week.
