Kitchen fire in Duluth displaces family on Sunday
A Duluth family returned home to their kitchen on fire on Sunday afternoon. This was at 2408 E 4th Street.
According to the Duluth Fire Department, 911 operators told the residents to close the house back up while the crews were in route. It took them two minutes to get there.
A family dog was not harmed.
Damages are estimated to be between $20,000 and $25,000. The fire was contained to the kitchen.
Two adults, four children, and one dog are unharmed but displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross is assisting them.
