Superior, Wisc. restaurant “The Kitchen” received a legislative citation.

The small business raised thousands of Dollars for the Superior Legion and Toy for Tots.

Senator Romaine Quinn and Representative Angie Sapik presented the award Monday at the restaurant.

Receiving the award was an emotional for owner, Ed Flood, whose wife passed away in April. He credited her as she accepted the away, “Everybody that’s here knows this has nothing to do with me. Unfortunately, Teresa can’t be here for it.”

The Kitchen is located at 803 N 5th St. in Superior, Wisconsin.
