Life House hosts annual Celebration of Successful Youth

Life House hosted its annual Celebration of Success on Thursday night to honor youth who have achieved a major milestone in the past year. The graduation-style event was held at the DECC and highlighted the successes of nearly 30 young people connected to one or more of the Life House programs.

The event began with a social hour prior to the program. Guests were able to enjoy food, drinks, raffles and live music prior to the celebration ceremony. Local musician Sonja Martin performed during the social hour and Sam Zimmerman, Duluth-based author and artist, gave the keynote speech.

Proceeds from the event were meant to benefit Life House. Life House is a Duluth-based nonprofit organization that provides services for youth ages 14-24 who are unstably housed and/or navigating various challenges in life.
