Longtime Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland CEO is stepping down

The longtime CEO of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland, Todd Johnson, is stepping down to pursue new opportunities. Johnson has served in this role for 28 years.
During his time in this role, the Boys and Girls Club of the Northland has expanded its reach from Duluth to serve youth in Superior, Hibbing, and Grand Rapids/Greenway communities.
Johnson was inducted into the Boys and Girls Club Great Plains Area Council Hall of Fame and named CEO of the Year. In a press release, the Boys and Girls Club of the Northland released the following statement: “We would like to express our deep appreciation for his leadership and dedication during his long-standing tenure with BGCN, its mission, and the communities it serves. We wish Todd all the best in his next chapter.”
Chief Financial Officer Dawn Hautajarvi will serve as the interim CEO. Boys and Girls Club programming will continue its programming as normal.
