Louie the cocker spaniel inspires a children’s book

An Eveleth woman has published a children’s book about her beloved dog, Louie.

“It’s based on what we do together,” Lindsey Pasch explained. “It’s just on my heart to write for children.”

To inspire kids, she chose a message about positive reinforcement and sport from friends.

Louie has a dream about being a rapper. And when he goes to the dog park and meets his pals, they ask him to learn it.

Louie is a 12-year-old cocker spaniel. Pasch hopes to write a whole series about him. “I tell him he’s the best, no less, every day.”

He’s also inspired her to start up a homemade dog treat business. “I just got my license,” she told us. But she still has some work to do before she can get going.
