“Love-a-pet” adoption event at Miller Hill Subaru

As part of an ongoing national effort to place pets in loving homes, local humane groups and Miller Hill Subaru have teamed up to create an adoption event at their local Hermantown dealership.

The two-day event started on Saturday 21st of October, for persons interested in adopting cats and Sunday 22nd October for dog adoptions. The event featured discounted pet adoption fees, free micro-chipping with a donation from the wish list and animal related vendors.

There were a variety of healthy, loveable cats and dogs that got their new forever homes. All of the animals were spayed or neutered, vet-checked and up-to-date on vaccines.

The event was in collaboration with AAHS (Animal Allies Humane Society), Lake County Humane Society, Chequamegon Humane Association, The Babinski Foundation and Carlton County Animal Rescue with ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®).
