Lowell Elementary hosts multicultural night

Duluth Public Schools’ Hispanic Organization of Latin Americans hosted a Multicultural Night at Lowell Elementary School on Friday evening.

The event celebrated the diverse backgrounds and traditions students and families in the Duluth area and featured several activities including traditional dances, music performances, and art displays.

In addition to the cultural activities, guests were able to sample a variety of different food and drinks from around the world. Oasis del Norte food truck was also at the event.

“We are thrilled to host a Cultural Night celebration,” said Lowell Principal Eve Hessler. “This event is an opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate the diversity that makes our school so special.
