Man arrested for stolen hockey sticks

Monday, The Duluth Police Department arrested a 23-year-old man for stealing hockey gear and is facing charges of pending charges of Felony Theft.
At approximately 10:50 p.m. Saturday, December 28, while on patrol, officers located a male walking in the 100 block of E 3rd St with a few of the items.

The male stated he located the items behind the CHUM. The male didn’t match the description of the suspected individual and was lodged at the county jail for an unrelated warrant.
Officers recovered the items and arrangements to return the items to its rightful owner are being made. This incident remains an active and ongoing investigation.
