Meatloaf Run motorcycle ride to rumble through Itasca County on Saturday, supports veterans
Show your support for veterans on Saturday at the 2nd annual Meatloaf Run.
The ride is hosted by the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® MN Chapter 48-8 based out of VFW 1720 in Grand Rapids, and is expected to draw CVMA® motorcyclists from all over the state, Wisconsin and North Dakota.
Lisa Randall, the chapter’s public relations officer, said, “We are hoping for 100 bikes. And it is impressive to see 100 motorcycles together.”
Organized in memory of Wesley “Snipes” Kubat, the ride brings awareness to veteran mental health and raises money in support of our local veterans.
“We enjoy each other’s company. It’s a time to bond and be together,” shared Hugh Quinn, a member of the chapter.
The public is invited to line the streets in local Itasca County communities to show support for veterans as the motorcyclists cruise through.
Here is the approximate schedule that the group will rumble through your area (give or take 10-15 minutes). For the safety of all involved, supporters are reminded to keep a safe distance from the roadway.
