Michelina’s all you can eat spaghetti dinner kicks off

Michelina’s all you can eat spaghetti dinner opened at the DECC’s Lake Superior Ballroom from 11am till 9pm on Friday June 21st. The event typically serves over 8,000 plates of spaghetti each year.

They served up spaghetti and meatballs, rolls and butter, and ice-cream and cookies for dessert. the event is a tradition for many Grandma’s Marathon runners and spectators.

“It takes a team. We have a sea of volunteers here today, everybody comes down and helps,” said executive chef Jerry Carpenter. “I have a sea of people, a good staff, my staff, our catering staff, my boss, the whole crew, everybody.”

Tickets are available at the door and are $18 for adults, $9 for children ages 5-12 and free for 5 and under.
